Dussehra 2026 – Let's Burn Unnecessary Tasks Along with the Ravana Within! 😊🙏
10 Bad Habits to Kill This Dussehra for a Happy Life – विजयादशमीचे खरे युद्ध, आतल्या वाईट सवयींशी सामना!
Awareness Intelligence –
Think Clearly. Prioritize Wisely. Say NO When Necessary. Live Happily!

MuktAI – Awareness Intelligence
Dussehra 2026 – Let's Burn Unnecessary Tasks Along with the Ravana Within! 😊🙏
A New Vijayadashami Resolution – Fewer Tasks, Clearer Thinking, and a Happier Life!
20 October 2026 – Wishing Everyone a Very Happy Vijayadashami! 🌸🙏
Today is Dussehra! Vijayadashami!
One of the most important festivals in our Indian culture. A day to celebrate the victory of good over evil, truth over falsehood, and positivity over negativity!
Every year, we burn the effigy of Ravana.
But what about the Ravana within us?
Last year, on 2 October 2025, I wrote a blog post on this very subject:
10 Bad Habits to Kill This Dussehra for a Happy Life – The Real Battle of Vijayadashami Is Against Our Own Bad Habits!
In that article, I shared my thoughts on ten bad habits that prevent us from living a happy and meaningful life.
Not spending enough time with family, constantly comparing ourselves with others, neglecting our health, procrastinating, wasting unnecessary time on mobile phones, ignoring financial planning, and losing the willingness to learn new things are some of the habits we need to change.
Today, one year later, while revisiting that article, another important thought came to my mind.
We Are Very Busy, But Are We Moving in the Right Direction?
Over the past few months, I have personally experienced this situation.
From 12 May to 3 August 2026, I was in the USA. During my stay in Dallas and Raleigh, I had plenty of time to learn about Artificial Intelligence, experiment with new tools, and think about my MuktAI – Awareness Intelligence initiative.
I thoroughly enjoyed those days!
After returning to India, I had planned to continue this work with even greater enthusiasm.
But what actually happened? 😊
Rahul Towers society management activities, Rotary responsibilities, family commitments, and several other tasks started occupying most of my time.
All these activities are important in their own way, and I genuinely enjoy contributing to them.
But somewhere along the way, I realized that while fulfilling all these responsibilities, I was not finding enough time for something equally important to me — my passion for learning AI and developing my MuktAI venture.
And then an interesting thought came to my mind.
When we keep saying YES to every activity, we may unknowingly be saying NO to our own dreams and life goals!
We all have only 24 hours in a day.
We do not have to do every task ourselves. Our participation is not necessary in every discussion. And we certainly do not have to personally solve every problem that comes our way.
Some responsibilities should be delegated, some activities can be postponed, and some unnecessary tasks should be eliminated completely.
Awareness Intelligence – The Art of Clearing Mental Confusion!
I believe that when our minds are overloaded with too many tasks, responsibilities, expectations, and unfinished activities, we gradually enter a state of confusion.
And in this confused state, we begin losing clarity about our real goals and the right path towards achieving them.
This is where I believe Awareness Intelligence – the ability to think consciously and clearly – plays an important role.
We need to become aware of what we are doing, why we are doing it, and what value it is adding to our lives.
Artificial Intelligence can help us perform tasks faster and more efficiently. But Awareness Intelligence can help us decide which tasks are worth doing in the first place — and which ones we should avoid altogether!
I believe this distinction is becoming increasingly important in today's world.
Social media, politics, global events, WhatsApp discussions, endless messages, and unnecessary arguments consume a surprising amount of our valuable time.
Of course, staying informed about what is happening around the world is important.
But do we really need to get emotionally involved in every issue, debate, or controversy?
Perhaps not!
My Personal Resolution This Dussehra! 😊
Last year, I shared my thoughts about overcoming ten bad habits.
This year, I would like to add one more to that list.
The 11th Bad Habit – Getting Involved in Every Activity While Neglecting Our Real-Life Priorities!
Starting this Dussehra, I want to consciously work on a few personal resolutions:
- Give proper attention to my health and family.
- Reserve dedicated time for MuktAI and continuous learning about new AI technologies.
- Participate meaningfully in Rahul Towers society and Rotary activities while delegating responsibilities wherever possible.
- Reduce unnecessary discussions, social media distractions, and other time-consuming activities.
- Most importantly, learn to say NO politely when something does not align with my priorities!
What matters is not how many tasks we complete, but whether we are doing the right things and finding happiness in the process.
My Dussehra Message – Identify the Ravana Within!
The ten heads of Ravana are often interpreted as symbols of the various negative tendencies within human beings.
But I believe that in today's world, unnecessary busyness, mental confusion, and misplaced priorities can also become our inner Ravana.
This Vijayadashami, let us ask ourselves three simple questions:
What unnecessary activities am I spending my valuable time on?
Which important goals or responsibilities am I neglecting because I am too busy?
And what is one unnecessary activity that I can stop doing from today?
Perhaps answering these questions sincerely could mark the beginning of a new victory in our lives!
In my 2012 blog post, Sukhi Honyacha Mantra – How to Be Happy in Any Job, I shared my thoughts about finding happiness and satisfaction in whatever work we do.
Today, I would like to add another important thought to that philosophy.
To live happily, it is not enough to simply do good work. We must also learn the art of avoiding unnecessary work! 😊
So, this Vijayadashami, let us resolve to overcome not only our bad habits but also unnecessary commitments, negative thoughts, and activities that waste our precious time.
Think Clearly. Prioritize Wisely. Say NO When Necessary. Live Happily!
Revisiting My Dussehra Blog from Last Year!
The thoughts I shared last year in my article “10 Bad Habits to Kill This Dussehra for a Happy Life” remain just as relevant today.
That is why I am sharing the article with you once again.

Have you managed to overcome any of these bad habits during the past year? And which habit would you like to change this Dussehra?
I would love to hear your thoughts! 😊
Wishing Everyone a Very Happy Vijayadashami! 🌸🙏
