10 April – From Santronix to MuktAI: A Journey of Building with Technology
Today, 10th April, is not just another date for me.
On this very day in 1986, I inaugurated my small venture —
Santronix Computers in Jalgaon.
A small beginning…
But a powerful seed.
🌱 The Beginning – Learning with Limited Resources
In 1986, things were very different.
There were no laptops.
No internet.
No cloud.
No YouTube tutorials.
I started by teaching basic programming languages using:
- A ZX Spectrum computer
- A small black & white TV as display
That was our “computer lab”.
And still… learning was happening.
Because learning does not depend on resources…
It depends on intent and curiosity.
The same year, personal computers were launched in India.
Within a few months, I purchased my first PC.
That changed everything.
Now I started teaching:
- Lotus 1-2-3 (the Excel of that era)
- dBase
- FoxPro programming
For me, this was not just teaching…
This was entering the world of real business applications.
⚙️ Building Real Business Solutions
Soon, I started developing real solutions:
- 📊 Invoicing & Accounting System for Salecha Dal Mill (Jalgaon)
- 💊 Billing & Inventory System for pharmaceutical distributors
- 🔗 MLM (Multi-Level Management) System
And I still remember…
👉 The EASy Accounting & Inventory System built in FoxPro
was my first commercial business application.
That moment gave me confidence:
“Technology is not just to learn…
Technology is to solve real problems.”

In that era, FoxPro was magical.
Because it provided:
- Database + Programming
- Fast development
- Real business use
- All in one place
You could build a complete business solution quickly.
No complex infrastructure…
No dependencies…
Just logic + understanding + execution.
🔁 The Journey Continues – Passing the Baton
In 1996, I sold Santronix Computers to my student
Umesh Sethiya.
And I feel proud to say…
👉 He is still successfully running it in Jalgaon.
This is the real success:
Not just building something…
But building something that continues beyond you.

Today when I look at Google Sheets, I feel something very familiar.
Google Sheets is the modern FoxPro for this generation.
Because it allows:
