Seattle Trip – The Final Journey of My USA Stay
Last week’s Seattle trip was the final travel adventure of my USA stay. As usual, Abhishek planned everything very meticulously.
On 21st July, we started our journey at 7:30 a.m. After a four-hour flight, we landed in Seattle at 9:30 a.m. local time. So, we gained two extra hours in the day—perhaps more valuable than any monetary gain in financial terms! 😊
That is the interesting plus-and-minus game of different time zones in the USA and across the world.
At his home, we enjoyed delicious shira and pohe—something I had been missing for the last three months! 😋
After returning from the North Cascades, we checked into the Marriott Hotel. Staying there brought back my 25-year-old memories of the time when I used to stay at the Marriott in Lebanon, New Hampshire, during my annual business visits.

Days in Dallas and Raleigh
After landing in Seattle, Abhishek picked up our rental car, and we went to meet Pankaj Savdekar, my former student from Jalgaon. It was wonderful to meet him after such a long time.
At his home, we enjoyed delicious shira and pohe—something I had been missing for the last three months! 😋
After breakfast, we headed towards the beautiful North Cascades in Pankaj’s Tesla. Thanks to Pankaj, Abhishek did not have to drive after the long flight and insufficient sleep due to our early-morning departure. Because of him, we could relax and enjoy the North Cascades trip much more.

Over the next few days, we visited many beautiful attractions in Seattle, including the Chihuly Garden and Glass, the Space Needle, Mount Rainier and Pike Place Market.

We also managed to meet some of our family network contacts. Many more friends and contacts live in Seattle, but because of our short stay, it was not possible to meet everyone. Hopefully, we will meet them during my next visit.
Overall, it was a beautiful and memorable trip to the beautiful city of Seattle—and a perfect final journey of my USA stay. 😊
